Nicola has 20 years of experience in continuing medical education program development and medical association management. Prior to forming Leadingstar Events & Media in 2007, she served as the Vice President and Director of Education for Compass Management & Consulting (a sister company) for 5 years. Nicola has served as a Vice President and Account Director for several medical education and communications companies in the New York City area. In these roles, Nicola worked to design and implement hundreds of multi-faceted medical education activities, meetings, publications and multimedia programs. In addition, she was responsible for fundraising within the pharmaceutical industry.

Nicola graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin–Madison with a BA degree in Journalism/Advertising, and earned a Masters in Public Services Administration–Health Care from New York University. Nicola is an active member of ASAE and the Alliance for CME.

Shannon Sheridan brings comprehensive knowledge of public relations, marketing, and special event coordination experience to Leadingstar Events & Media, with a background of more than 10 years as a professional in the industry. After graduating from Arizona State University, Shannon moved to New York City where she began her first job in public relations. She then moved on to work under the tents at Bryant Park and was soon creating memorable experiences for clients all over the Big Apple and beyond, including Tommy Hilfiger, Nautica and ECHO Design.

Shannon now lives in Jacksonville and creates events for her clients at Leadingstar Events and Media. She is currently enrolled at Jacksonville University completing an MBA degree.

Clark Morgan is a data and network systems specialist with more than 14 years of experience. He has specialized in association- and education-related systems for 12 of those years. Clark is an active and contributing participant in the open-source software community, and he is the co-author of PHP5 and MySql Bible and has contributed chapters and editorial input to a number of other programming texts and magazines.

As Events Manager for Leadingstar Events & Media, Inc., Erin Lingerfelt brings an understanding of the hospitality industry and the belief that superior customer service is the key to strong client relations. A graduate of Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Erin's focus in Hospitality Management allows her to not only assist in the business aspects of the production but also to contribute her creative insight in really helping the events thrive. Both her educational background and knowledge gained in producing a wide range of events are what enables Erin to provide Leadingstar clients with an innovative and memorable experience.

Lindsay joins Leadingstar Events & Media, Inc. as a graduate of Indiana University with a major in Tourism Management, focus in Event Planning, and a minor in Business. Her wide variety of experience has allowed her to become the well-rounded and skilled events coordinator that she has always aspired to be. She has earned her talents from managing nonprofit University functions, fundraisers, weddings, holiday events and numerous parties and social events. Her attention to detail, exquisite taste and superb event management skills allow Lindsay to put together and execute the perfect event!

With more than 9 years of experience as a web designer and developer, Tom brings a unique combination of creative and technical skills to bear on each project Leadingstar Events & Media undertakes. His meticulous attention to detail and in-depth knowledge of the vast and widening array of emerging Internet technologies help to set Leadingstar's interactive endeavors far above those of our competitors.
